HHS Criminal Justice Class Program

The Hillsboro High School Criminal Justice Class, along with Teacher Mr Bill Draper, has a Field Trip to the Hillsboro Police Department shooting range during the semester. This gives the students an opportunity to learn about the training and dedication that it takes to be a Police Officer. Some of the areas addressed are firearm training and proficiency; less lethal concepts, tactics and equipment; carbine rifle and sniper. The department demonstrates these concepts and shows the students the effects that are the result of there deployment. The Hillsboro Police Department looks forward to hosting the students twice a year.
